Lil•Joey Newborn All In One

The Lil•Joeys are a preemie/newborn diaper designed to fit from 4-12lbs. These come in a set of two diapers.

The Lil•Joeys take special care with a snap down front for sensitive cord care during those first precious days. The Lil•Joeys are the simplest of diaper systems on the market for a newborn baby. The internal soaker is 4 layers of thirsty microfiber that have been permanently sewn into the core of the diaper. No stuffing required. The Lil•Joeys are an AIO (all in one) design that is waterproof and requires no cover. Once your baby is ready for the next stage in diapers, The Rump•a•rooz® (Rumparooz) One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will take your baby all the way through potty training with one diaper that has 4 size settings. No need to buy multiple sizes as your baby grows. The dual inner gussets can also be found on the Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper.

The Lil•Joeys make a great addition to any newborn stash. The Lil•Joey will fit your preemie or multiples starting at 4 lbs. Although the Rumparooz One Size Cloth Pocket Diaper will fit a newborn at 6 lbs, other one size diaper brands do not start fitting until closer to 10-12 lbs. The Lil•Joey will fill the diaper gap so that your precious newborn does not have to spend one day in a disposable diaper with chemicals against their precious porcelain skin. Don't sacrifice that tiny little rump, not even for one day!

Lil•Joey Biodegradability:

Kanga Care diapers and accessories are also biodegradable! In 2008 Kanga Care started using a biodegradable TPU waterproof material. Biodegradable TPU is solvent-free. Biodegradable TPU is a polyester fabric that has been laminated with a thermoplastic polyurethane using a heat bonding process, not chemicals. This process is low in toxicity and is better for the natural environment then traditional PUL. Both the TPU laminate and the polyester fabric the laminate is applied to are biodegradable. When composted they will biodegrade in 4-5 years.

Use, Wash & Care:

TO USE:
  • Before first use, wash diapers once.
  • If cord stump is still present, snap down the cord care feature.
  • After cord stump has healed, cord snap feature may be un-snapped. Chose whichever snap settings fits your newborn the best.
  • Fasten diaper to baby!

Wash & Care:

Wash diapers together on Cold Wash/Cold Rinse, fast cycle, no detergent, spin dry (quick pre-wash). After pre-wash; wash on Hot Wash/Cold Rinse with 1/4 regularly suggested amount of detergent*. Tumble dry low or hang dry (diapers dry FAST!)

*Detergent: Do not use detergents that are "Free & Clear" or contain fabric softeners. Fragrances may cause irritation, discontinue detergent brand if irritation occurs. Do not use bleach. Do not use fabric softeners or drier sheets. Do not soak for long periods of time. Do not soak diapers in detergent or any laundry additives for removing stains, odor or buildup. If staining, odor or buildup occurs, make sure you are using a detergent that contains enzymes. Fit right from the start
I wish it had a little bit of a higher rise it would fit great for twins or a premature baby. At 7 lbs 5 oz my daughter was already on the verge of outgrowing it. Cute prints and soft stretch on the elastics.

Love Lil Joey
I really love this diaper for a newborn. It is so similar to a disposable. We had no leaks at all until recently but I think its because my lil one is growing out of it (almost 4 months old). She was a tiny baby so this was a perfect fit for her. However, we did wait to use until after her cord fell off because the snap down still would have rubbed against it.

Cute, but SO disappointing..
I'm so sad these didn't work for us, because they're SO cute and tiny. The inner is soft and the snaps are quality, but thats where the love ends. They leaked like CRAZY and did not fit under the cord on my 7lb newborn.

Great for preemies!
These are a great newborn diaper! I got these as a rental after my daughter was born 4 weeks early. They are somewhat bulky, but IMO almost anything is bulky on a 5 lb baby. These were the first diapers to be outgrown (around 10lbs), but she still used them for 2 months! Wonderful for tiny littles, but if you're expecting an 8 pounder, you can probably skip these.

Pretty good newborn diaper!
I got this diaper as part of my newborn rental and we really liked it! It was probably the softest newborn diaper we received and the double gusset did a wonderful job at keeping the EBF poop inside the diaper! The only thing we didn't like was that our boy outgrew this diaper waaaaaaaaaay before he outgrew the other newborn diapers! So I'd say this would be a great diaper for tiny newborns.
