|Wet bags and dry bags are typically used to store soiled diapers, but can also be used for a wide range of things like mama pad storage, as well as wet swimsuits. They range in size from very small (mama pads or 1-2 diapers), to medium (3-4 diapers), to large (6-10 diapers), to hanging (up to 20 or diapers). The large and hanging bags are great for home diaper storage before they are washed, while the other sizes are perfect for quick trips to the store, daycare, or outings where you’re gone for the whole day. These bags can be used dry, which is where the diaper is just tossed inside, or wet, where the bag is filled with water. Typically dry use is preferred for safety and stink reasons. The inside of the bags are typically made of PUL (polyurethane laminated fabric) or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), which keeps the moisture from leaking to the outside. Leslie’s Boutique, Wahmies, and Rumparooz make high quality and stylish wet bags.
Pail liners are similar to wet bags in that they are used to store diapers. Again, these can be used wet or dry, but dry is the preferred method. Pail liners are placed on the inside of trash cans or dirty diaper storage units and they keep moisture from leaking, as well as contain odors. Leslie’s Boutique also makes pail liners.
